An Olds Rocket '88 for 8/8.
Also inspired what many consider to be the first rock n roll song, back when Ike Turner was known for beats and not beatings:

And the first pushrod OHV V8
And not to long before that Olds had the first automatic transmission.

I can't wait until my car is more of a fun/track car and I can stick a pegasus on it.

It was far from the first pushrod V8
Chevy had the D-Series in 1917, I'm not sure if there were any before that, but there could be.

First with overhead valves or valves in the cylinder head.
Everything before that was a flat-head where the valves were beside the piston in the block.
Before the Olds Rocket and Cadillac OHV, the only way to get overhead valves in an engine was to use an overhead camshaft.
It wasn't the first pushrod motor ever, but the first to use the "modern" pushrod configuration.

I was not aware that they used this in cars that early.
According to wikipedia, it seems that the Olds was the first high-compression ohv motor that became an achetype for modern pushrod engines while the original ohv motor was designed by David Dunbar Buick.
So different level of achievement entirely and a lack of information on my part.
